Meet Caity Kelly

Creative Director / Founder

Caity Kelly is a creative problem solver with a background working with nonprofits, startups, and sustainability companies. She’s our big-picture thinker who loves to get to the root of a problem and find the perfect solution no matter what it takes. She’s a strong believer that design can be used as a tool for social change and seeks out purpose-driven projects. You can trust her to get the job done right (and laugh a ton along the way).

When she's not working, Caity is likely doing something ultra-nerdy like playing D&D, reading anything Brandon Sanderson, or making cosplay costumes.

A Message From Our Founder

Hi, I'm Caity Kelly! I'm the owner and Creative Director of Carrboro Creative. Before starting Carrboro Creative, I worked as an in-house designer at at utility-scale solar company and at a startup that was developing a nail polish to detect date rape drugs in drinks. Through my experience, I recognized a huge gap between the design needs of an organization and the capabilities of a small in-house team. I started Carrboro Creative to help fill that gap. Since opening, we've helped nonprofits, local government, solar companies, real estate agencies, accounting firms, and many more thrive with impactful design.

Unless you're a large organization, you likely don't have enough people, skills, or time to design what your company needs. We can help.
