Complete rebrand for a 60-year-old regional government organization—new name, new brand identity, new messaging strategy.
A regional council serving 40+ member organizations (urban and rural) couldn’t communicate a cohesive identity. They needed a new name that worked for everyone and a brand that didn’t favor one community over another. We created Central Pines Regional Council—named for the pine tree that thrives everywhere in the region—with a split pinecone logo representing the urban-rural balance. We developed complete brand guidelines and a communications strategy that finally clarified their role and mission. The result: a 60-year-old organization with a fresh identity that actually represents all their members.
Brand strategy, visual brand identity, and website design for an iconic arts hub that's been fostering creativity in Carrboro since the 70s.
Their brand had become stagnant and didn’t reflect the vibrant, evolving arts community they support. We developed a complete brand strategy that honored their legacy while positioning them for growth, created a retro-meets-modern visual identity inspired by the 70s (dynamic color palette, rainbow motif, playful design elements), and built a website that showcases their programming and makes it easy for the community to engage. The result: a 50-year-old institution with a fresh face that attracted a broader audience without losing what makes it special.
Brand identity and website design for a pharmaceutical manufacturer expanding across Africa.
Med Aditus Pharmaceuticals needed to look like a legitimate pharmaceutical company without confusing donors who support their nonprofit parent organization (Med Aditus International).
We created a complete brand system that separates the two entities—navy and teal palette for pharmaceutical credibility, clear messaging for different audiences (partners, regulators, investors), and a WordPress site that showcases manufacturing capabilities across Africa. The result: they can talk to pharmaceutical partners and regulatory bodies without anyone wondering if this is actually a nonprofit.
